How to extend your B-2 Visa stay in the U.S.?

If you want to stay longer in the United States, you can apply for a B-2 visa extension that will allow you to stay for an additional 6 months. It is critical that you apply for this extension 42 days before the I-94 card expires. The documents that you need to send in order to apply for an extension of the B-2 visa are: valid passport, proof of financial support, completed I-539 form, original/photocopy of the I-94 card, a written statement for the reason behind the requested extension and the visa extension fee (which is 370$).
