To be eligible for a B-1 visa, you must show that the purpose of your travel is to enter the United States for legitimate business, that you expect to stay for a certain limited period of time, and that you have adequate funds to cover the costs of your stay in the United States.
You must also have a permanent residence outside of the United States that you do not intend to depart, as well as other ties that will secure your return to your home country at the end of your visit.
